KU Lawrence Campus Soil Boring Information

This soil boring information has been prepared by the Office of Design & Construction Management. The soil boring locations shown do not represent every boring that has ever been taken on the Lawrence Campus, but represent those that DCM has been able to assemble from a search of Department archives and newer projects.

DWF and DWG files The Lawrence Campus soil boring map is provided in two different formats:

  1. .DWG - AutoCad drawing file. This format can be viewed using the AutoDesk Autocad program or buy using the Autodesk "DWG Trueview" viewer, which can be downloaded for free at: http://www.autodesk.com/products/dwg/viewers
  2. .DWF - Drawing Web Format. This format can be viewed using the Autodesk Design Review program, which can be downloaded for free at: http://usa.autodesk.com/design-review

Each Soil Boring has a label that identifies the Boring Number, Boring Report Name, and the page number for that particular boring. To get the specific details about a soil boring, click on the link below, open the specific Soil Boring Report PDF and then find the identified page in the report.
